Book the baby's jabs and check-ups
The first two vaccines, BCG and the first dose of hepatitis B, are given in hospital at birth and recorded in the health booklet you take home. Checked against cda.gov.sg on 22 September 2026.

What else to know
The National Childhood Immunisation Schedule then resumes at 2 months with the second hepatitis B dose and the first doses of DTaP, inactivated poliovirus, Hib and pneumococcal conjugate, and runs on at 4, 6, 12, 15 and 18 months. Full subsidy at polyclinics and CHAS GP clinics is for Singaporean children; no official page extends it to permanent residents, so if you are a PR family check before you assume. A foreign child pays the non-subsidised polyclinic rate, or the private rate at a paediatrician, which is what most expats use for the convenience. Bring the birth certificate to the first visit and the booklet to every one.
