Book antenatal classes
Antenatal classes in Singapore are run by hospitals and by private groups, covering labour, pain relief, feeding and the first weeks. Book in the last trimester: KKH recommends registering after 16 weeks, and closes registration 2 weeks before a class starts, or earlier once the slots are filled. The KKH antenatal programme
KKH runs 2 versions, both taught in English and both including a complimentary 2-hour talk: a 4-week evening course at its Patient Education Centre, and a 1-day intensive at the Great Eastern Centre. The fees KKH publishes are $240 for a KKH patient and $296 otherwise for the 4-week course, and $306 and $326 for the 1-day; the page says nothing about GST. You register through the form on KKH's own page, which also carries the current dates. Places go first come, first served once payment is received, and a missed class is not replaced.

What to ask
- Does the fee include GST?
- Is there a waiting list once the slots are filled?
- Does the fee cover both of us, or one place?
- Which other hospitals near me run a course?
What happens next KKH publishes its dates, its fees and the booking form. These are the parts it does not.
