The child health clinic (consultatiebureau)
The consultatiebureau is the free child health clinic, and you are invited to it rather than having to find it: appointments come to you through the first years, to check growth and development and to answer whatever you want to ask. The vaccinations run on their own timetable, and these are the dates the national programme publishes. Checked against rijksvaccinatieprogramma.nl on 23 September 2026.

What else to know
Babies born between October and March are offered an RSV injection within 2 weeks of birth; babies born between April and September are offered it in September or October. Rotavirus drops start at 6 to 9 weeks. If you had the whooping-cough vaccination during the pregnancy, the main course (DKTP-Hib-HepB) starts at 3 months; if you did not, it starts at 6 to 9 weeks. All of it is free. One thing Paperbump cannot tell you: when the first home visit and the first clinic appointment fall. Those dates are set locally by your GGD rather than nationally, and no official page states them, so rather than print a number we cannot stand behind we have left it out — your midwife or kraamverzorgende will tell you, and the invitation comes to you.
